I hope you’re ready for some more soul, rhythm, and blues: Jordan Rakei is back with a brand new song, and along with it, a new album and world tour have been announced! “Say Something” is the first single off the new record, Origin, which will be released June 14. If you’re familiar with Rakei’s previous material, you know you’re in for a great set of tunes, so check out the new one now!

As a songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, Rakei has been wowing us with increasing frequency over the last couple of years, from his amazing LP Wallflower to savvy guest spots on such records as Loyle Carner’s Not Waving, But Drowning. This new track shows a new confidence and sense of adventure, with classic r’n’b melody backed by an efficient rhythm section and assorted effects.
