You’ll also probably know that we’ve been panting for new material from this seminal post-metal act in the five years since the masterpiece that is Pelagial was released. Today, many of us assisted in breaking Pelagic Records’ website when this song dropped, scrambling to get our pre-orders in. We’re a ravenous bunch. The new song “Permian: The Great Dying”, is exactly what we’ve been waiting for: nine minutes of textured, masterfully performed progressive post-metal. Listen below.
