Jinjer‘s momentum has not ceased for a very long time. Everybody who knows them knows that they rarely stay off the road or out of the recording studio for any seismic length of time. With their 2018 US tour having been a huge success for these super low-end Ukrainian metallers, the band have just announced an all-out return to North America, this time as a headliner.
The tour begins September, concludes November, and spans over 40 venues. It also comes off the back of their recent new EP, Micro, which further propelled Jinjer‘s modern djent-esque sound, as well as helping them to acquire an even wider fan-base. With the help of Tatiana Shmailyuk’s unmistakable and staggering vocal range, Jinjer have already made several waves, but 2019 could well be one of the most important years of their career.
Supporting Jinjer for the entirety of this grueling road-trip will be the distinctly industrial and wonderfully groovy The Browning, who have maintained a similarly intense live schedule in very recent times. It’s likely that at least one more extra support act will be thrown into the fray, but as it stands, fans can expect to see two distinct yet like-minded outfits, who both combine intelligent technical songwriting with just about the most hellishly brutal breakdowns imaginable. Attendants had better hold onto something!
