Opeth require no further introduction in my opinion. The progressive death metal sensation turned progressive rock stalwarts are going to be hitting the road early next year. They will be touring throughout many places in the USA and even have a couple of dates in Canada.

Opeth will be touring in support of their latest album, which was released barely a week ago. In Cauda Venenum (which translates from Latin as “Poison in the Tail”) is the thirteenth full length album by the band. Unlike any other release, it was released in two versions: a Swedish language version and an English language version. The record has received universal acclaim, and I even enjoyed it a lot myself.

The band is not alone on this tour, as they will be sharing the stage with the rockers from Graveyard. Graveyard are a bluesy/psychedelic hard rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They also have fresh material to share with the world. Their sophomore album, titled Peace, was released earlier this year in May. They are sure to make a sweet match with Opeth‘s tunes on this tour. Make sure to catch a show – this isn’t something to miss out on!
