Grab your swimwear and get ready to be drenched in delightful and deafening decibels, because Tides From Nebula are hitting the road! The watery Warsaw trio are bringing their heavy post-rock goodness to Europe later this year in support of new album release, From Voodoo to Zen. One acclaimed, aquatically-named act not enough? Well, the instrumental troupe have also announced they’ll be bringing fellow post-rockers Tides of Man with them for half of the shows, while post-metal (and black at heart) ambient troupe ROSK take up support duties upon their return to Poland in November.
Releasing worldwide on September 20, From Voodoo to Zen is the band’s proper follow-up to 2016 album Safehaven; unless you consider the two-track DOPAMINE // PARATYPHOID FEVER, released last October, that is. The album’s seven tracks will surely offer the same passionately-crafted instrumentals, though no singles have graced the public ear just yet. Tides From Nebula will then hit the continent shortly after the record’s release, visiting several countries and dozens of cities during the lengthy tour. Fans from Poland can particularly rejoice, as the latter half of the run is entirely based on home turf.
Known for their high-energy performances, the power-combo of both Tides is sure to delight any who get out to see their respective soundscapes brought to the stage – especially if the headliners bolster their strong live shows with renditions of the new material. Not only this, the band have managed to schedule spots on no less than three festivals during their time on the road as well. I’ll be grabbing a ticket for the Crauford Arms, a great, intimate (and best of all, local) venue!
