Progressive/ Folk rock masterminds Little Tybee have released a music video for their new single, “Lost in the Field”. It is quite a tune, with a lot of beautiful subtlety to the instruments. The way the strings almost glide through the four and a half-minute track is magical. Guitarist Josh Martin and vocalist Brock Scott show their proficiencies as well, creating a dreamy and airy track that flows along. It is truly a wonderful single, and if you have yet to heard it I highly recommend you stop right here and watch the video below before doing anything else.
The video in question is a lovely piece of cinematography that Scott himself shot while sailing the Greek Cyclades. It follows the story of a sea captain searching for his missing crew in the island chain, and ends with him sailing off into the distance, so far unsuccessful on his journey. There is a stark contrast to the crisp shots of the beautiful landscapes present in the Cyclades and the hand-drawn animations added in that works very well. The video credits end with a string of tour dates from Little Tybee and Kindo in March. The dates encompass the Southeast United States, with a few shows in their home state of Georgia.
