After getting our ears wrapped around Ancestors‘ first single from their upcoming album Suspended In Reflections, the whole team got stoked for this release. We already had the opportunity to premiere their single “Gone” roughly a month ago, and we are more than excited to give you a brand new track from the highly anticipated record. Here is “Through The Window”:
Again, Ancestors showcase their ability to combine a warm, cozy atmosphere, intimate vocals and fragile melodies with distinctive and subtle heaviness, impalpable suspense and wide, epic soundscapes. Their adventurous mixture of doom metal, Isis-esque post metal and prog/psychedelic rock in the vein of Pink Floyd proves again to be a match made in heaven, and continues to feed the craving for more. With each single, the band opens up their artistic vision, lyrically and sonically, while only teasing the mysteries which may lie behind the curtain.

Ancestors‘ long-awaited album Suspended In Reflections will be released August 24 via Pelagic Records.
