After recently concluding a tour with Thrice for the 15th anniversary of Vheissu, Philadelphia’s mewithoutYou have announced an album celebration of their own. This spring, the art rock giants will trek across North America and revisit their classic 2006 release, Brother, Sister. With such quintessential tracks as “Messes of Men” and “In a Sweater Poorly Knit”, these shows will surely be special and packaged with mewithoutYou‘s brand of raw emotion.
This tour announcement is bittersweet, as mewithoutYou announced back in October that 2020 would be the last year for the band. At the time, they claimed they would do a spring tour for Brother, Sister and then do a ‘proper farewell’ tour in the fall. While it is heartbreaking to know that the band is calling it quits soon, fans will still have some opportunities to honor their legacy.
The tour will contain two legs. The first leg runs from May 9 to May 24 and will be supported by Slow Mass, and the second leg takes place from June 3 to June 13 and will be supported by Dominic Angelella. Check the dates below to see if they’ll be making a stop near you!
