Two weeks ago, Polish instrumental post-rockers Tides From Nebula announced their new album From Voodoo To Zen to be released this fall. Just today, the band came up with the very first single off the record. It’s called “The New Delta” and will satisfy each fan of modern post-rock music!
“The New Delta” features big soundscapes in a known Tides From Nebula sound. The band once again works with some synthesizers that add perfectly to the guitar sound and create a very big momentum. There’s also a lot of contrasts, like a big build-up with a distorted guitar followed by a calm passage. The use of tambourine and percussive elements over the drums gives a narrative vibe, which is also led by the synthesizer melody. Tides From Nebula are only a trio, but sound bigger than ever before, which comes with the great production of this track! You’ll love “The New Delta”, especially if you love them for their atmosphere, storytelling melodies, and mellow harmonies.
Guitarist Maciej Karbowski states on the album process:
‘It seems that being a three piece made us work harder and challenged us to write better music. I’m pretty sure this is one of the reasons the album ended up sounding so rich and epic. Musically and visually this new record is a sidestep for us, which came subconsciously. We just followed our gut feeling and as we were recording in our own recording studio, we could work on every small detail and I am sure that this album will develop with every listen. We are super curious about the listeners reaction.’
