High energy post-rockers, Brutus, are all set for their two-part tour, which kicks off mid-September in Germany and continues end of October in America. It means that a good wedge of states and cities will get to witness the band’s atmospheric presence first hand.
The Belgian three-piece have made waves across both sides of the Atlantic with their latest album, Nest, which was released worldwide last March. The record is a supercharged swill of cinematic rawness, with highly emotive leads and vocals, layered upon pounding punk rock and black metal rhythm. There is a hefty soundscape achieved across just three members, rendering Brutus a jaw-dropping affair. No doubt then that the live shows will be bursting at the seams with adrenaline, as the break-neck quick-witted style of their music suits the stage perfectly.
This tour also marks a fresh batch of dates, as Brutus are already busy hitting the stage in numerous other venues, including appearances in the UK, Download-Spain, and one of the UK’s biggest summer metal festivals, ArcTanGent. 2019 is one hell a big year for Brutus, and following the release of Nest in the first quarter, they simply have not stopped to take prisoners. Busy aint the word.
