If you’re looking for some gritty new technical death metal, then you’ve come to the right place, my pals. Singularity have returned with another track from their forthcoming album Place Of Chains which is due out on October 11 through genre heavyweight, The Artisan Era.
“Sisyphean Cycle” leans into some light progressive moments with some light orchestration which brings some legitimate grandeur to the track. With blast beats aplenty and a bifurcated vocal approach from guitarist Jack Fliegler and bassist Adam King, the song never lacks potency. But don’t take only my words for it, check out the video below!
With Place Of Chains’ imminent release, pre-orders are already live on Bandcamp and The Artisan Era’s storefront. You can snag the album in a variety of formats from digital to vinyl along with some sweet merch to go along with it, so dig in. In a year that has been rich with some tech death highlights, many from this same label, there’s something different about what Singularity are doing here. Their mixture of black metal, symphonic elements, and impeccable precision make for an adventurous journey for the listener.
